At Ability Bridge, we believe that every individual—regardless of mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, or economic hardship—deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and hope.

Founded by Sarah Park, an immigrant and mother of a child with developmental disabilities and autism, our organization was born from lived experience. Sarah overcame significant language and cultural barriers, and has dedicated over 20 years of her life to working with nonprofits focused on mental health, developmental support, and low-income community empowerment. Her journey fuels our mission to offer personalized, empathetic care that meets each person’s unique needs.

What sets Ability Bridge apart is our holistic, strengths-based approach. We focus not only on providing essential services—like food distribution and housing solutions for individuals with disabilities and underserved families—but also on helping people rediscover their confidence and self-worth. Our employment readiness programs are specifically designed to help those with developmental and mental health challenges identify their talents, gain meaningful employment, and become empowered members of their communities.

We envision a society where everyone, regardless of ability or background, can thrive. Through community support, tailored rehabilitation, and practical life resources, Ability Bridge helps build those connections—one person, one family, and one step at a time.
